Galicia
Galicia sits at Spain’s north western tip and is a geographically diverse region of the country. It is filled with sea inlets and Atlantic forests, as well as numerous rivers and valleys, and is a popular hiking and outdoor sporting destination. Galicia’s capital is Santiago de Compostela, whose old town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its old city center still shows evidence of Roman influence, and features elements dating back more than 1000 years. Despite its prominence, Santiago is only home to approximately 100,000 residents.

Galicia may not be home to sprawling cities like other parts of Spain, but it still offers all the amenities a visitor would need. Santiago is filled with great restaurants, hotels, and its old town center is more than enough reason to visit the city. There are no casinos in Santiago, however, casino lovers can enjoy an exciting night-out in the Casino Atlantico, located in the city of Corunna, the second largest city in Galicia. The only other land-based casino in the region is located on the holiday island of La Toja offering a variety of slot machines, Roulette, Blackjack, Punto Banco and daily Poker cash games. Like in the rest of Spain, visitors to casinos in Galicia must be 18 years or older with a valid ID and smart dress is typically required. Casinos open in the evening or at night and remain open until early in the morning. For complete information on all casinos in Galicia, choose from the list below:
